Mark Hodapp, a member of the Cardondelet Neighborhood, has
self-published a
trilogy of books. They include, "Tears from the Heart," a
collection of
stories about grieving; "Taking a Spring Walk," a meditative
book about
God's grandeur in the spring; and "Oh, Beautiful Butterfly,"
photos of 15
varieties of butterflies and poems. Hodapp was a reporter and
editor with
the Messenger, official newspaper of the Belleville, Ill.,
Diocese, and the
Suburban Journals. Msgr. Kenneth Steffen, pastor of St.
Elizabeth Parish in
Marine, Ill., said, "'Tears from the Heart' provides a
springboard in which
